It’s been crazy busy trying to get several gardens planted up before the weather turns on us. One of these including designing and planting up a lovely mixed evergreen hedge for a front garden in Hampshire. I went for a mixture of Griselinia, Pyrocantha and Cotoneaster to give different textures, leaf shapes and sizes and berries for interest. The hedge went in yesterday on what was one of the warmest late October days we’ve had in a long time, when war I was most worried about was working in frosted soil! Am very happy its in and even happier it’s been raining today to water it in!
